Inside Party proposes £200 million ring road tunnel beneath Smalltown
Traffic in Smalltown's streets is moving far too slowly, according to Trygle Slagsmål Bedum, leader of the Inside Party (IP). His solution? A four-lane ring road tunnel right under the town.
“If we dig a two- to three-kilometer-long tunnel under the city,” he says excitedly, “people can just keep driving laps if they want to.”
Smalltown Magazine contacted City Council Leader Jonna Gårå Sture from the Workaholic Party (WP), who says he hasn’t heard a thing about the tunnel plans.
“Sounds like pure election pork,” he sighs. “Now that the farming settlement talks are wrapped up, the Inside Party's completely out of policy ideas.”
