The man rescued from the harbor claimed he was from the past and was taken into care by medical personnel. Smalltown Magazine agrees the man definitely has an unmistakable 80s vibe.
A seemingly confused young man was fished out of the Smalltown marina earlier today.
Emergency services responded to reports of a disoriented man who had fallen into the water.
According to rescue leader Life Buoy, the man refused to come ashore, insisting he was an excellent swimmer.
Due to the man’s unusually dilated pupils, Buoy contacted the Main Rescue Center (MRC) and called in 1,500 Home Guard soldiers to extract him from the water.
"Isn’t that a bit much?" Smalltown Magazine wondered. "He looked like he was actually enjoying himself."
"There will be no frolicking on my watch", said rescue leader Life Buoy sternly. The man was clearly delusional and claimed to be from the past.
The story continues below the picture...
"And how is he now, after being pulled from the water by 1,500 soldiers?" we asked.
"He’s being well looked after by medical staff", Buoy replied. "He was taken straight to Smalltown Psychiatric Hospital for evaluation."
