Most Drugs Expected to Go on Sale After New Drug Reform Decision.
There is broad consensus in the city council on a new drug reform. While narcotics will technically remain illegal, police will, as a general rule, look the other way.
The agreement was reached after lengthy negotiations between the parties Higher and Higher, Workaholic party, Straight Left, and Let’s Chip In.
The opposition—The Insider Party, The Twisted Party, and Blood Red—voted against the deal, arguing that drug use should remain an exclusive privilege for staff at the Smalltown Border Station.
Noah’s Ark and The Divine Hand chose to stay neutral, citing revelations from the Third Book of Higgins, which claims that Moses consumed large amounts of LSD on Mount Sinai.
The agreement makes it clear: decriminalization is off the table. But investigations and penalties will be quietly removed.
Chief Investigator Missed Call at the Smalltown Police Department welcomes the decision, noting it makes it easier for officers to take long weekends.
District Judge Hard Sentence of the Smalltown Courthouse and City Attorney Grimm Threat also support the move—especially now that summer is just around the corner.
Customs Inspector Ragna Feehammer at the Smalltown Border Station is also on board, as long as they’re not required to share cocaine seizures with the general public.
