"Boat refugees" having fun in Smalltown Harbor
Harbor Master Roger Lifejacket is concerned that being a “boat refugee” might be gaining popularity among young people.
"This feels like a youth rebellion to me," says Harbor Master Roger Lifejacket to Smallown Magazine. "More and more young people seem to be getting involved in this nonsense. In February there was one, and this month there are already two."
"But, they're not real boat refugees," we say. "The editorial team spoke with the girls, and they said they were just having a bit of fun."
"There's nothing fun about boat refugees," bursts Harbor Master Roger Lifejacket in clear irritation. "Playing mini golf on Kjeøya is fun. Young people these days just invent things."
"Isn't that a good thing?" we ask. "At least better than sitting glued to their phones without moving."
"No, absolutely not," replies Harbor Master Roger Lifejacket, upset. "Phones are the best thing that ever happened to kids and teens. That way they don’t run out and get up to mischief like these boat refugees."
