♫It’s summer. It’s hot at night. The water at the beach is 30 degrees♫
“Summer heat is taking its time, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be a cold summer,” says meteorologist Skip Miscast to Smalltown Magazine. “The heat could arrive at any moment.”
“So that means a shift in the weather, then?” we ask, picturing lazy days at the beach, floating on an inflatable rocking horse.
“Yes, there’s a real chance of that,” replies Skip Miscast. “It all depends on where you travel.”
“Travel?” we ask, confused. “We thought you meant here in Smalltown.”
“No, it won’t get that hot here,” Skip Miscast answers. “But in India, where my grandfather lives—it’s hot. At least, he’s always complaining about it.”
