Brutter# prepares for full-blown public transport drama this Saturday
Brace yourselves: major delays and cancellations are on the way for Brutter#’s transit services from Saturday morning and well into the afternoon. That’s according to Director of Infrastructure Panic, Bård Flekksignal, who’s been tasked with managing what Brutter# is now calling “a high-density citizen event.”
“Yes, sadly we’re slashing a big chunk of service,” Flekksignal tells Smalltown Magazine. “It’s because of an unusual surge of people downtown, combined with certain streets being closed for... marching.”
“Does the travel guarantee still apply on Saturday?” we ask, just in case.
“Oh yes, absolutely,” confirms Flekksignal. “If your bus or train is more than 20 minutes late, you’re welcome to join the May 17th parade. No ticket required.”
Chairperson of the League of Grumpy Transit Users, Torgny Kongebrød, isn’t exactly thrilled with Brutter#’s laissez-faire approach to the looming disruption.
“This makes me royally irritated,” grumbles Kongebrød. “It’s the same every year. Brutter# could’ve at least called the cops and cleared the commoners out of the city center.”
